Meconopsis come from the Sino-Himalayan mountains, from Pakistan (Kashmir), through India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Myanmar, as far as northeast Yunnan in China.
Expeditions to most of the places are possible, but not always easy to arrange. We have collected information about organisations that may be able to help. All of them have been used by members of The Meconopsis Group.
