Meconopsis come from the Sino-Himalayan mountains, from Pakistan (Kashmir), through India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Myanmar, as far as northeast Yunnan and Shaanxi Provinces in China. Expeditions to most of the places are possible, but not always easy to arrange. Here we provide some information about organisations that may be able to help.
