There is a page like this for every Meconopsis species. It lists the names of the species and all its subspecies, varieties and formas, if it has any. Synonyms of the currently accepted names are also listed. At the bottom of the page the section and series to which the species belongs are given.
For each of these, there are two pieces of information about the origin of the name: the person or people who published the name, in the usual botanical abbreviation, and the reference to the original publication.
If there are photographs of the species in our Species Gallery, there will be a button providing a link. Clicking on this will take you to that gallery. Photos at the top of each set are selected to show diagnostic characteristics. They are followed by photographs of plants in the wild, and then by photos of plants in cultivation.
