'Pink' Lingholm

Back in June I was asked to look at a ‘pink’ Meconopsis in a friend’s garden, it had been bought as a 1st year Lingholm plant at a Plant Heritage sale. It has flowered the same colour for three years now and there are strong first year plants ready to flower next year. The seed from this year looks viable and we will grow them on as well. Any thoughts on this?
1st photograph shows the colour.

Thats a lovely unusual one Alice. Need to try and keep it going!

Photographs of first year plants seed of 2019 sown in the autumn 2019. The left photograph is in a five litre pot, the right is in a ten litre pot.

To me this looks like the cultivar 'Henshol violet' which seems to be a variant of M bailieyi. It tends to come true from seed.

Thanks for your interest. Seen on the ground, it is quite different from Hensol Violet. I heard that there is another plant around similar but do not know who has it.
